The Thumbs Up! team has been travelling around the country over the past few years, especially to Remote Service Communities and teaching more about how healthy tucker leads to a long life.

Every time we go into a community, we put on a show! The school children get together and we all work to make up a song that talks about how good food and lots of water gives you lots of energy and helps keep you healthy. Thround the Thumbs Up! program, these sessions are filmed and at the end is a deadly song and dvd that the kids and the community is really proud of.

While the workshops and ultimately the songs and film clips are fun and exciting, there are real health messages here aimed to curb the rise of diabetes and kidney disease in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
